Consider this, the divorce rate in this country is at a staggering 50%* among the general populous. By nature, divorce is confrontational, counterproductive, demoralizing, and expensive. Getting a divorce can have long lasting and devastating effects on family members, parents and most importantly... children. The Bible tells us that “God hates divorce” (Malachi 2:16 NKJV).

 

While I do not believe in divorce, nor am I an advocate of divorce as a viable solution to “problem solving” in a marriage, I do believe if every attempt has been exhausted between two people to come to some sort of mutual resolve (in the natural), you must be “bold” enough to seek Godly wisdom for yourselves and your circumstances by soliciting support through your local church, family or even friends within the “Body of Christ.”

 

If you are a married person reading this book, experiencing various marital challenges in your life, and have been contemplating “divorce” as a possible option, or even solution to remedy your situation... Consider these two thoughts:

1) Divorce is truly not the will of God for anyone’s marriage

2) There are no winners in a divorce, only degrees of losing!
