Stephanie is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in auditing school districts across the state of Texas.  She has also held positions of Internal Audit Director and Audit Manager where she was primarily responsible for the following:

• Review the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations which could have a significant impact on operations.
• Review the means of safeguarding district assets and, as appropriate, verify the existence of such assets.
• Review operations or programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives and goals and whether they are being implemented as planned.
• Examine and evaluate the school district’s system of internal control and make value added recommendations.
• Train, guide, and assist school district staff.
